This weekend I have watched a range of music videos from a hybrid of genres but the genre that seemed to appeal to me the most was the genre of alternative rock and rap, there are many songs that are on the channel kerrang that are from the genre of rap- rock.

Limp bizkit my way

Limp bizkit my way uses a range of media elements, elements such as mise en scene. Mise en scene is the expression used to describe the design aspects of theatre production and film production. The clothing really played a significant part in this music video you will notice that at the beginning of this music video you will see a group of young guys wearing black shirts with era hats face to the back, reinforcing the lyrics “my way” in the sense that they are dressed according to how they want be portrayed in society. Instead of covering themselves up with suits just to benefit society.  Even the body language used by limp bizkit emphasises the lyrics, they gesture with swear words and have this sort of body language it’s all in your face (all up on the camera). 








In our music video I think that the clothing that Marcus should wear should reinforce the lyrics of “two close” if we look at the clothing that Alex Clare wears its more causal looking compare to the guys on limp bizkit, Alex Clare’s lyrics are more mature he talks about the decisions that we face when we have ups and downs in a relationship.  

Marcus should wear a range of casual clothes such as jumpers, chinos as well black trainers such as converses as this is more casual.
