Above is Alex Clare's Official Website when first visited. As you can see, it says his name very largely on the top banner of the webpage in capitals for it to stand out. The letters are black and very bold on top of a light grey/stone coloured background. I think this portrays Clare very well as he seems to be very simple and not so much in the spotlight. And also, his voice is really unique, bold and stands out- so they've made is website simple and bold in order to stand out and be memorable.

The tabs for each category of the website is very simple and clear like the main banner saying 'Alex Clare', creating a sense of cohesion.

This is showing the upcoming events from the artist moving us to the next point about the events..

The events are listed with a Facebook 'share' button on the right of them. This means people on the website can not only check when an event is or when it is coming up- but also share onto their walls or a friend's wall to get the message about the event across.

Alex Clare's album cover and songs are shown in the 'music' section of his page as it is obviously about music. The whole website promotes the artist, but having a separate tab allows organisation and clear promotion of the artist and his songs.

The final section of the music tab shows icons of companies/shops where his music would be available so people that like his music can be guided to the other websites also.
