Learning the lyrics and test shot of performer

Learning the lyrics for this song was straight forward in the sense that there were only two verses and the rest were the chorus, hence easy to memorize despite this being one of the worst songs I have heard in my life. However I did find it difficult to gesture and show body language such as dance moves (moonwalk didn't help) because the lyrics are so clean and easy to understand I would have expected it to be straight forward.
