Body Language

The body language of an artist is very important in a music video; body language is another way that many artists actually communicate with their target audience for example if we look at “50 cent in Da club” you will notice that 50 cent employs this sort of street/Hood body language that meets his intended audience which is young teens from the streets. His body language is very aggressive and attentive showing real interest and physical threat.

Even the acts on x factor when performing on stage are very enthusiastic in the sense that they show real emotions through not only their body language but also through their facial expressions,

It makes the audience believe that the acts that are performing literally wrote the song because it’s that believable.
Now I was thinking, since Marcus green is one of those sophisticated young artists its best that the body language that is being shown only reinforces the lyrics for example when the lyrics says “And it feels like I am just too close to love you” we can have Marcus green grabbing the air and bringing it down to his chest to emphasise how close he is to his love.

It’s best that when I (mark JEGEDE) do lip- sink for this track its best that I am able to say it out loud when on set, I mean sing it well, because that is the only way that the lip-sinking will be excellent.

Here is a clip below of young artist Rebecca Ferguson singing “show me love” notice the dancers and their body language and also Rebecca’s facial expression whistle singing on stage. Marcus should employ allot of movement and body language as this song is mainly performance.
