Camera and lighting

So I was watching telly and just lazing about. I wasn't paying attention, waiting for my show to start.. waiting, waiting, waiting..

..but then I noticed something. Not the show, not the actors, but the lighting they had used! There was one particular shot of the person in the advert being shown in a dark place.. with somewhat half their face lit using artificial lighting.

I knew then instantly that was something I'd want to replicate in our video for Marcus! We had the lights, so I thought, why not?
